It may be, but: If you do notice any unpleasant effects you still want him to be responsible toward you. That's a reasonably brief use, but step-down is still done by many doctors. Ask for a 'security blanket' Rx for a step-down if you feel the need. You need not use it if you feel fine. Win-Win!
