i woke up at 3 am throwing up violently. i had diarreah since then but the throwing up went away. feeling weak and stomach hurts. causes?

Gastroenteritis: Sounds like acute gastroenteritis. Usually viral. Stomach hurts from viral irritation and from throwing up. Weakness may be related to dehydration and virus. Drink plenty and eat small portions throughout the day.
