Unfortunately, you : Can't do this for him. You have to ignore the behavior for it to go away;playing/feeding reinforces it. Have a consistent bed time & routine; read, rock, brush his teeth & let him learn to fall asleep in his own bed. If you can't ignore his night-crying without going into his room, sit in a chair without talking or making eye contact, moving your chair closer to the door nightly. See www.Aap.Org.
