I have been dealing with very sore and swollen adenoids for about five days. i have been taking abx for 3 days with no relief. what can i do?

Keep taking the abx: Antibiotics help slow the growth of bacteria, giving your body a chance to get ahead and take out the infection. This sometimes takes a few days. Keep taking your antibiotics till they are gone. For your sore throat, try chloroseptic spray and/or salt water gargling to help with the pain and swelling. If it isn't better by a week, see your doc for a re-evaluation.
