I have lower back ache which gets worse when i lay down and at night time. i suffer from anxiety, could this be the reason it gets worse? im only 21.

Hard to tell: Depending on the cause of your back ache, the pressure on it when lying down may make it worse. Seek an evaluation from a physician who can answer that question. At the same time, anxiety can make your pain worse, particularly if your anxiety increases at night when you try to go to sleep. If you think that is the case, you might seek an evaluation from mental health professional. Hope this helps.

No: Anxiety in of itself should not cause pain. I would make sure that you see a physician for an evaluation since your pain is worse at night. It will also give you peace of mind.
