Strep throat: can be associated with kidney disease, though it usually happens after the throat infection is over. It could just be a coincidence. If you have any blood in your urine or it looks darker than normal, or if you have fever, chills, or any urinary symptoms, you should be evaluated and treated by a clinic, probably with antibiotics.
