Cough: If you are hypertensive and on an ace inhibitor, cough is a side effect. Other possibilities include gastric reflux, bronchitis, allergies, smoking, certain types of cancers, post nasal drip and even heart or lung disease. Please see an otolaryngologist for a more thorough airway assessment.
