Depends: Urine ph in health is usually a reflection of dietary acid loading while eating and is generally high in vegetarian based diets while it is often lower in meat based protein intake. However there are known renal (kidney) tubular disorders that can be functioning abnormally and alter urine ph. It is interesting that you have the experience of checking urine ph on a frequent basis.
