Yes.: It certainly could be osteoarthritis. However, a negative RA does not rule out ra. You need to be evaluated by your physician to see if further testing is needed.

Yes: If rheumatoid arthritis is ruled out, then one must look to osteo arthritis, or many other local factors. See an orthopedist.
