Metacarpal fracture: Would have it x-rayed or re-xrayed. Many time a small non displaced fracture does not appear on initial x-ray. If you think it's broken have it checked out or checked out again.

?: So sorry you are still having pain. If an x-ray was not done at your initial doctor's office visit this would be a great place to start. Even if it was initial x-rays can sometimes miss non-displaced fractures. Regardless of whether it is a fracture or not if you are still hurting good time to return to your physician or a sports medicine specialist.

Have it evaluated.: Pain due to trauma may be due to fracture, sprains, arthritis, muscle, nerve or tendon injuries. Have the hand evaluated so that you may get her the appropriate care.
