Either: I'd encourage you to stop smoking; it's just not good for you. Both throat and ptc can spread to the lymph nodes in your central neck, but given your history, ptc seems more likely. A serum thyroglobulin, thyroid scan, and a thyroid needle biopsy can get to the bottom of this.

Ultrasound showed vascular nodule (9 x 4 x 4 mm) in postoperative thyroid bed. Thyroidectomy 6 1/2 years ago (suspected cancer was Neg. ) and now Elevated thyroglobulin antibodies 332 (range 0 - 6) and TPO AB 24 (range 0 - 5). Should I be concerned?
