38 yr male. thyrodectomy for ptc 2 years. smoke pot. 7mm nodule on thyroid bed found. is this related to ptc recurrence or can it be throat cancer?

Either: I'd encourage you to stop smoking; it's just not good for you. Both throat and ptc can spread to the lymph nodes in your central neck, but given your history, ptc seems more likely. A serum thyroglobulin, thyroid scan, and a thyroid needle biopsy can get to the bottom of this.
