Is accutane more effective for patients past their teenage years? say in patients age 16 vs those age 20?

Accutane: Accutane is effective irrespective of the age of the patient. However Accutane is a strong medicine with a number of actual and potential side effects. I find it is better to control acne with topical and oral medication in younger patients and to wait until 6 to 8 months before going away to college to treat with accutane.
