There is evidence...: ...for effects of a number of herbal supplements in PCOS: http://bmccomplementalternmed.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1472-6882-14-511 the specific herbs you mention don't seem to do much in PCOS, but there are others. Many PCOS patients are on Accutane for severe acne, but it's a tricky medication with lots of precautions.
