Cancer sores: Cancer sores can sometimes come in bunches. Biting your tongue or cheek can create an opportunity for them to form, but they also seem to pop up when your body is stressed. Extreme weather changes, colds or illnesses, and stress from work or daily life may make them more likely to appear. Try swishing with some warm salt water and make an appointment with your dentist to have them checked out.
