Canker like sores on very back of tongue and lingual tonsil on one side for 2 days. no fever/ upper respiratory symptoms. very painful to swallow. ???

Topical anesthetic: Most canker sores subside within 10 days. If they are too painful, topical anesthetic lozenges may be helpful. For more severe cases a Rx topic steroid paste may be used. If problem worsens , see doctor.
