See MD: Likely migraine, but make sure it isn't some other vascular problem, tumor, dental, stress related. Need a thorough history, physical to direct your treatment. See your doc, likely neurologist as well.

Migraines: Sounds like you are losing many days in a month due to headaches. Perhaps a triptan taken at the onset might stop the headache. Drugs to prevent headaches are very successful, and consider depakote, topirimate, naproxen, beta blockers, but several otc preps work well also, such as riboflavin, butterbur, feverfew, co-q-10.
