Sensitive teeth: You can try using anti inflammatory medication such as motrin. Also topical Fluoride will help; need prescription from your dentist.

Fluoride gels: Whitening with too strong of a solution or for too long can definitely cause sensitivity. We use prescription strength Fluoride tooth pastes and gels prior to whitening. If sensitivity persists, we use Fluoride gel in trays.
