Can sinus or tooth pain make your tongue kinda numb?

Maybe: A lower tooth infection that has damaged the lingual nerve can cause this but it is extremely rare. So can a tumor. Either case it is important to see an oral surgeon asap!

No: Due to the way nerves work, your tongue could not be affected by sinus or upper tooth problems. You should check with your dentist about this problem.

Rarely: Tooth pain may effect your tongues nerves. However sinus pain will usually not effect your tongue. Please see your dentist asap as tongue numbing symptoms are best treated if caught very early . An oral surgeon may be needed for a consultation. Take care..

Sinus No; Tooth yes: An infected lower posterior tooth can very rarely result in TEMPORARY decrease in tongue sensation. Should resolve when tooth treated. If tongue symptoms persist, not normal. Then seek oral surgery or ENT exam.
