Not many risks: This is generally safe to take, however a few individuals may have allergic or sensitivity reactions which would cause problems and therefore require stopping the use of these substances.

It has been reported to expand so much that in some people it actually blocked their intestinal track creating an emergency situation. Do not take advice from dr. Oz or any doctor who does not know your personal medical history. If you need to lose weight, consult a professional.
