According to my ultrasound, i conceived a week or two before my ovulation. is that even possible?

No: I would venture that your dates are off. There is no way you can conceive before ovulation. Your ovulation thermometer could be off or there could be some other confounding factor affecting your calculation. I'm betting that the ultrasound is showing the conception from the month prior. Day1:period. Day14:ovulation/conception. Day28:ultrasound shows 2 weeks. (or add 1 month to all numbers).
