A member asked:

What is the condition causes the limbs and fingers to be extra long?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: One disorder associated with long extremities and arachnodactyly (long digits is Marfan syndrome, but it is not the only one. Most are caused by genetic (inherited) changes in connective tissue/collagen. Many are associated with changes in the heart valves, the blood vessels and the eyes. If one has long extremities and/or long digits, one should see a doctor for an evaluation.
