Stay active: Exercise is a great way to relieve stress. Your body releases endorphins during exercise, which can help you feel calm. If you exercise 30 - 60 minutes a day, your stress levels can improve. When stressed, take 5 slow, deep breaths with your eyes closed, then roll your shoulders forward 5 times, then back 5 times. This will slow your heart rate and release tension in your neck and shoulders.

Bring it on ; then..: If u feel panic attack coming on or if u're in situation that might bring one on, try this: let it come! actually let it happen! so if u feel one coming on tell urself "i can handle it -even though it won't feel good!" and before one comes or while it's happening 1) do slow "belly breathing"; ; 2) alternate between squeezing ; relaxing different muscle groups. U'll learn u have control over them!

Several things: Panic attacks are very frightening. The first thing I advise is slow deep breathing. Sometimes panic attacks are related to low blood sugar or dehydration so slowly drinking a glass of water and a piece of fruit may help. Lavender oil can be calming; consider diluting a few drops in water and spraying or adding some to a hot bath. Bach Flower Rescue Remedy drops really help some folks. See comment:
