Absolutely: Root canal treatment is routine and safe during pregnancy, especially if you are experiencing pain or have an abscess.

Yes: Most dental procedures are safe during pregnancy, including root canals. The best time to have them done is in the 2nd trimester, but if there is pain, infection, or emergency, a root canal should be completed asap as waiting can be more harmful to the baby.

RC Rx / pregnancy: The risk to your child from any infection, including a dental infection, is magnitudes greater than the risk of problems from treatment. As you are pregnant, I would recommend seeing a root canal specialist, and Endodontist, who has the training and experience to resolve your problem safely and efficiently.
