Lasik: You should be able to see improvement immediately after surgery and 90% of healing occurs in the first 24 hours. Most people are happy with their vision very quickly.

Very soon: Although most are seeing again immediately after the treatment, it will be fuzzy/hazy requiring a driver and lots of rest. In an uncomplicated case, nearly all patients are seeing well enough by the next day to return to tasks such as driving.
