Yes: It all depends upon the type and degree of malocclusion. Best to see an orthodontist for evaluation to recommend what is best for you. Sometimes invisalign is used in conjunction with traditional braces to get best result.

YES!!!: Yes it can, in fact everyday thousands of people are being treated in a mediocre fashion by severely under trained dentists! in the right hands and if the problems are not too severe it can be helpful. It however should not be direct marketed to the public or be used by persons who have as little as one weekend of education to be "certified".

Yes: Invisalign is a braces alternative, used by many clinicians to fix mild-moderate malocclusions. You should see an orthodontist to determine if it is right for you.

That's what it's for: Malocclusion is an all-encompassing term that refers to a "bad bite" and orthodontics is used to treat it. Depending upon the nature and severity, invisalign might be applicable. Best to see your licensed orthodontic specialist for an opinion.

Yes, but...: Clear aligners are about half as effective at treating malocclusion as traditional braces. They work best if less than 2-3mm of overall crowding or spacing. They don't fix skeletal malrelationships. They can derotate flat teeth (incisors) moderately well, but with less success for round teeth (canines, bicuspids). They do not tip or torque roots into place very well. Braces simply work better.

Yes, of course: Invisalign works well in correcting all kinds of maloccusion. But severe malocculsion may need to be treated in conjunction with something else.

Yes: It is exactly what it is developed for. It can, however, only address certain cases- it has limitations. A consultation with an orthodontist can identify if you are a candidate for this treatment, or if traditional braces would be required.

Of course: However, Invisalign doesn't make the best choice for correcting all types of malocclusion or orthodontic disorders. See your orthodontist for examination, imaging and treatment options.
