Possible fasciatis: You may have plantar fasciatis. If you get out of bed and get burning and / or shooting pain at the heel of your foot and up your leg -- likely this is what you have. Get to a podiatrist right away for diagnosis and treatment. If you do not, it will usually get worse and take longer to heal. I have had this.

Tendinitis, sciatica: Either achilles tendinitis or sciatica (pinched nerve in your upper thigh) are the most likely answers, but the treatment for each is very different, so you should see a podiatrist, pcp, or orthopedic specialist to determine which you have.

Gastroc Soleus: The fascia and muscle invest in the Achille's tendon. If the tendon is over stretched, pain in the back of the leg is not uncommon. Sometimes stretching exercises help, other time surgical intervention to elongate this complex is required.
