Sorry for your loss: So sorry for your loss. This situation is obviously very stressful. For the bloated and gas- you could take an acid-blocker, or antacid-combined with an anti-gas formula or both. Acid blockers such as zantac (ranitidine) or pepcid- are histamine blockers, and Prilosec or Prevacid are proton pump inhibitors and will help reduce the acid. Simethicone will help with the gas. Mylanta or Gaviscon are antigas/antaci.
