Be aware of risk: Part of the trilogy of the robin sequence is "glossoptosis" or the falling back of the tongue root into the airway of a baby on its back, an issue that seems to peak weeks after birth after the jaw & tongue have grown. Many consider this DX a reason to belly sleep an affected kid rather than back sleep. No symptoms in a 3mo would imply the worst risk may be past, but confer with your dr for specific recs.

Pierre Robin is : usually most problematic in the newborn period due to the small lower jaw causing the tongue to fall back and cause obstruction. By 12-18 months, the jaw may appear normal. If there are no eating or breathing problems at 3 months, your baby should do well.
