after an intestinal bug, i had a jelly like substance in my stool. i didn't wipe well and some hardened on my panties. it's like gooey plastic. ?

Mucous: This is mucous that the bowel wall creates and helps lubricate you stool as it comes out. When you have an infection the bowel wall produces more of it. It should pass after you are better.
