See below: I assume that you have diabetes as you are measuring your blood glucose regularly. There are many things that can elevate your blood sugar temporarily most commonly an infection of some sort such as urinary tract infection, dental infection, viral infection, etc. If this persists see your doc to get you back to perfect control.
