Maybe a scratch: If it's not interfering with breathing, swallowing or causing a cough, it's not an emergency and you can probably wait a bit. Try swallowing some soft foods like bread or mashed potatoes, which may help it pass. If nothing changes, the fry may have scratched your posterior palate or may actually be stuck. If any of the above symptoms are happening it may be worth having your throat examined.
