Yes: Yes. This is serious. In my humble opinion, you are reacting badly to your father's death and this could last for years - with or without therapy. However - therapy is likely to shorten your destructive path. I'm so very sorry for your loss. You are not a bad person for reacting like this - most people have some sort of serious reaction to losing a parent. You are in my thoughts...
