Probably: It is not uncommon to develop carpal tunnel syndrome after a wrist fracture. If this is not addressed at the time of the initial surgery and continues, it may require release. If your nerve was normal before the surgery and working fine and after the surgery has ceased working, then it still could be cts but it also could be an iatrogenic nerve injury.

Yes: Carpal tunnel syndrome is not uncommon after a wrist fracture. Often a carpal tunnel release is necessary.

Unfortunately yes: There could be two problems, nerve damage from the swelling after the fracture and then the surgery. The second is if the nerve was injured during surgery. You need to see someone comfortable with nerve repairs encase a nerve laceration is found.

It's possible...: But you have to be careful with determination of treatment based only in an emg. Sometimes it could be just a nerve contusion and that improves with time. Talk to your doctor about it and explain to him/her your concerns.
