Yes: The soft spot is are region of the skull where the bones are not yet developed but will grow in with time. Major blood channels are located in this region, and the area will pulsate with the heart beat and with breathing in a normal manner. In cases of severe brain pressure the soft spot can bulge and the pulsing may stop. This becomes a serious problem that needs urgent evaluation.
