Finished growing: On average, boys finish growing by the time they're 17 as this is when growth plates close. While there may be some bones in the legs, spine and hips which aren't as mature - final height potential in older kids is best predicted by the bone maturation in the wrist, hand, and fingers. When these plates close, there is nothing else to be done. Your current height is well-within mid-parental height.
