A member asked:

I was curious if there was anything i could do to become taller. i'm 5'4.5 and 19 yrs old. my mom is 5'4 and my dad is 6'0. can i still grow?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely not: At age 19 most females have stopped growing. If you are more than 3 years past the onset of your period, your growth is pretty much done. You might get another 1/4 to 1/2 inch, but i wouldn't even hold my breath for that. Rejoice in the fact that you're otherwise healthy, and love yourself for who you are, not over whose head you can see! sometimes that view is not worth seeing...
