Doctor can evaluate: First, one can see her primary care doctor. Then, one can see a physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor). The physiatrist (also called pm&r doctor) can examine the muscles and their function. If there is no pm&r doctor in the community, one can also see a neurologist.
