Once my fever breaks, does that mean my symptoms for influenza will still be there?

Usually yes: If a person has the influenza, her flu symptoms usually last longer than her fever symptoms.

Influenza: When fever subsides should become progressively better. Caution common for secondary pulmonary infection and pneumonia. If fever returns or breathing gets worse with purulent secretions see physician.
