Influenza: without a fever you don't have influenza. You probably have a cold. If you haven't had a flu shot get one. Even though the antigens in the shot don't exactly match the flu strain this year, it should offer some protection and make the flu less severe if you get it. Influenza is sudden (like you were hit by a truck), fevers,chills, runny nose, cough, diffuse aches and rarely GI symptoms.
