See your surgeon: You nneed to see your knee surgeon. You may have an infection or just inflammatory reaction. The crunching i wouldn't worry about but you want to worry about the function of your knee. And how much pain yo uar having...This definitely needs to be looked at!

Somewhat long pain: Pain and warmth must first r/o infection. Crunching can be anything from scar tissue to patellofemoral problems. Needs to be reevaluated by dr. Doing procedure.
