Can't turn back: With a bone age of 16, there is less than 5 cm left of growth potential. Adding experimental treatment in the form of aromatase inhibition may delay the progress, but limited studies have not published data when bone age is so advanced. No real knowledge about long term side effects although there are concerns about how treatment might affect fertility and vertebral bone.
