Probably not: Second hand smoke has been implicated in lung disease and a few other systemic problems there is probably not enough absorption to cause cataracts and if cataracts are already present, you needn't avoid the smoke on that account although second hand smoke in any event is not ever good.

No research: We have research that clearly shows that patients who smoke have more rapid progression of their cataracts. We do not know if second-hand smoke can have that same affect. Certainly the harm in terms of lung disease, cancer and heart disease is clearly proven though.
