Had surgery in aug for a cracked talus from a car accident. am now having severe pain in front of anklebone-some swellling. still in boot. any ideas?

Healed?: It's important to make sure that the fracture has healed. These fractures can also sometimes cause talar avascular necrosis due to disruption of the blood supply to the bone. Make sure you follow up with your orthopedic surgeon for evaluation.

That's pretty long: As i'm not your physician, i don't know the full extent of your injuries, but aug to december is a very long time to be in a boot and still displaying symptoms unless you had multiple surgeries. Have you spoken to your podiatrist about the swelling?
