See Amyloid: I do not know if you can see amyloid protein on 2 d echo, but it just sees some change in normal echo texture and can suggest the possibility of amyloid. If it is confirmedd, then it is called amyloidosis. Talk to a cardiologist.

Biopsy...: Biopsy can be performed for confirmation. Cardiac perfusion scan in conjunction with cardiac FDG pet scan can be used to evaluate cardiac amyloidosis.
