Varies: Klonopin is used to aid in the treatment of anxiety disorders that are moderate to severe. Not to be used alone, they are added to an anxiety modulator/antidepressant which is the backbone of treatment. After stabilization we gradually wean off and use medications like vistaril (hydroxyzine) for breakthrough anxiety. Discuss the issue with a psychiatrist.
