Irritation: Usually the antibiotics clear up the urgency and pain within a few days. You may have some residual irritation of the bladder. Alternatively, it would be important to check and make sure that the antibiotic was one the bacteria from your urine culture sensitive was sensitive to. If they were resistent, then it would have been like not taking antibiotics at all.
