Infection: You need to make sure there are no infection at the site of blood patch. Contact anesthesiologist or department where procedure was done and go for evaluation. If your lower extremities getting numb it could be emergency. Contact physician immediately, to rule out epidural hematoma.

You should get : Evaluated. It is possible that the blood caused a neuritis. However, it is also possible that the back symptoms are unrelated to the blood patch. A neurologist will help you figure it out. The anesthesiologist who performed the blood patch will want to know and likely will help, you find a good neurologist.
