Physician visit: Your physician should verify this is real acne and if so, institute treatment. The oral contraceptive pill is often successful if you want and can take it. Painful acne usually requires something like a systemic antibiotic in addition to topical treatment, or dermatologists have big guns to treat it. Good luck.
