Talk to a therapist: Or a psychologist about why you don't believe repeated reassurance that your chest pain is not a medical condition . Your chest pain could be anxiety or a psychosomatic condition. Doctors have probably already told you that. Repeating the same ineffective pattern for a year is clearly not working.

Health Anxiety?: I agree with Dr. Stewart. This does not sound like a healthy behavior loop. Are you worried that you are going to die or that you are really ill? Do you thrive on attention from medical providers? Would you prefer that a diagnosis of a medical illness be made to explain your symptoms? Have you been told that you have a health anxiety disorder? Recommend psychotherapy if med causes ruled out.
