Perhaps: Perhaps if used in a certain way someone could use zolpidem as a "date rape drug." it's possible to achieve erection on zolpidem (sleepsex). For safety reasons i'm not going to explain how one could abuse the medication.

Zolpidem: Zolpidem and any other medication or substance which sedates people can probably be used for "date rape." however, this is not an appropriate use of a medicine prescribed for temporary insomnia. Rape is a serious crime. Men often have erections while asleep, at certain phases of sleep cycle. This still doesn't excuse rape.
